After assisting the board during 2023, Sarah officially joined the board as Director of Administration in early 2024. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Master’s degree in Education, both from Cabrini University. She is currently working in a Special Education department at a local high school as an Instructional Aide. Sarah’s work with nonprofits began with the Purple Feet Foundation (PFF) which serves middle school students in Philadelphia and Harrisburg. Through her work with PFF, Sarah found her passion for helping children overcome obstacles in their lives and achieve their full potential.
Sarah described that when given the opportunity to start working with Fostering Hope, “[she] could not say ‘yes’ fast enough. Being given the chance to help children and families navigate the world of foster care and possibly make the process a little bit easier, is incredibly rewarding and gratifying.”
