Anne Munoz-Furlong is an Advisor to the Board on our leadership team.

Anne Munoz-Furlong has been working in the nonprofit area for almost 35 years. She founded the Food Allergy Network (FAAN), a 501 (c)(3) which later became the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN). As CEO, she grew FAAN into a national and international leader in food allergy awareness, education, advocacy and research, with 30,000 members.

She has produced videos and cookbooks, written a series of books for children, co-authored medical research papers, worked to pass national legislation on food labeling and access to epinephrine in schools. Anne also established the national Food Allergy Awareness Week.
Anne founded the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Alliance, comprised of similar international organizations, to facilitate information sharing around the world.

Her passion for helping others continues to this day. Since retiring from FAAN, Anne has been working as a consultant, using her extensive experience to aid individuals who are creating nonprofits. We are excited to have her assisting us.
